1. Can I drop in to swim?

Drop-in swimming will not be permitted at this time. We have a structured schedule for the aquatic centre which currently requires a valid membership. You are able to see blocks of time  to make a reservation with your membership for Lap Swimming, Adult Restorative & River Walking, Senior Swim, Parent & Tot, Family & Leisure Swim, Public Swim  and swim lessons. 

2. Is the Fitness Centre open?

Yes, the fitness centre is open with limited use. Drop-in visits to the fitness centre will not be permitted at this time. Patrons who hold valid memberships may access the fitness centre, however, they will be required to book a workout time online. Online bookings can be made up to 2 days in advance. Go to the instructions page for additional instructions on how to reserve a time slot.

3. What can I expect when returning to PRC facilities?

Coming back, you will notice changes to our facilities and new procedures have been implemented to keep our staff and visitors safe.

• One-way entrance and exits have been established for all facilities. Staff and visitor access to facilities have been separated.
• Entrance into the Community & Aquatic Centre will be restricted to Campbell Avenue (Riverside entrance doors)
• Communal pathways have been reconfigured to directional pathways to reduce personal interactions.
• Hand sanitizer has been provided at all entrances and must be used before entering and exiting the building.
• Signs have been posted at entrances instructing customers and employees who have a cold, flu or COVID19 symptoms to not enter the building.
• Signs have been posted throughout the facility reminding employees and customers of the COVID19 key principles.
• Physical distancing markers and directional markers have been placed on the floor throughout the facilities.
• Floor Lobby area seating has been removed.
• Water fountains have been disconnected.
• Water bottle fill stations will remain open.
• There will be no drop in programming. Pre-registration will be required for all activities.
• Occupancy loads for all PRC facilities have been reduced to accommodate physical distancing requirements.

4. Can I book a sport fields?

Yes! All our sports field are open for use. Residents are more than welcome to use the fields with their families and social groups. If you are looking to book a field for a sporting activity, please contact the Department at 250-837-9351 or email prc@revelstoke.ca for more information. 

5. Is the Aquatic Centre open?

The aquatic centre opened on September 8th, 2020. Facilities are open to membership only with reservations made in advance. See our Aquatics Page for more information

6. When will the Arena Facility open?

The arena opened on September 14^th, 2020.  Access to the facility will be limited to scheduled user groups. There will be no drop-in programming for the time being.

7. Will I be able to rent a room in the community centre?

Yes! We are accepting facility booking requests. Meeting room capacity has been re-established based on best practices (suggested 5 square metres per person) to accommodate physical distancing requirements. We have also prepared new meeting room protocols which must be adhered to when using our space. We encourage you to email your booking request to prc@revelstoke.ca.
